Not sure what to say?

I remember taking Carol to purchase her Christmas tree last year. Of course we had to go to Flattsnoots on Stadium. It took her 5-minutes to pick out the tree and another 20 minutes to pay for it - as you were granted entrance into the "iconic" trailer to complete your purchase and imbibe in the traditional holiday toast. Miss you Carol and all the fun times we had. Judy

I´m one of many so fortunate to have known Carol. She came into my life twenty years ago when I needed help with pet care and over the years she became a treasured friend. All of my pets loved her, most especially my senior rat terrier Max who Carol nicknamed the Tiny General, which perfectly reflected his personality and her sense of humor. Max was a tough critic and he adored her, running up her stairs at every vacation at "Spa Carol" when I traveled-never looking back to me and I knew he...

I'm so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. She was so dedicated to the pets she cared for. I remember her genuinely grieving over a pet I would lose that she cared for. One time the a fuse went out and knocked out the power to my 65 gallon salt water tank I have one of those old fashioned fuse boxes and when she decided that was too much to deal with she found an extension cord and ran it from the other room to get it running again. She once noticed that a faucet I used to prepare R.O. water...

I was surprised and saddened to learn that Carol had passed away. Over more than 20 years she cared for my dogs when I had to be away - immediately available for at least two family emergencies. My dogs were never unhappy to be left in her care and sometimes it seemed like they were a little reluctant to come home! She treated them well, with firmness, understanding and affection. She was a treasure to know and I´m sad to learn that she´s no longer in this world! Joyce, Mike, Max, Toby and...

Carol was an amazingly kind, generous and loving soul. She cared for my pets with so much attention and care as if they were her own. We have over 20 years of a relationship, one that I will miss and I think of her so many times a day she became a very trusting and dear friend of ours. Brandi and BB loved their Auntie Carol and enjoyed several sleep overs with lots of fun and plenty of walks and treats. Carol we miss you and know we love you and appreciated all you would do for so many. ...

I worked with Carol at the old St. Joe's in Ann Arbor. She was the GI Tech and I was a student. I learned a lot from her and we got along well. After I left St. Joe I ran into Carol out at my townhouses as she was starting her new business. I was happy for her and I'm glad to know that it did well for all these years. I have fond memories of Carol and I offer the family condolences.

Carol or Aunt Carol as we referred to her took such great care of our "Katie", a 10 lb. cavapoo. Katie would always run to her door so anxious to see her and much to our dismay many times never even looking back as we departed. That told us everything we needed to know! There are countless stories we could tell of Carol´s kindness and her love of animals, which was exemplified in her wide circle of clients, many that became friends. Simply put it took a special person for us to feel...

Carol took care of many of our pets over the years; as they grew older and required more care, Carol was always willing to provide whatever was needed which eased our minds greatly. I know the last few years were difficult for Carol starting with the pandemic and then her failing health, but she never lost her optimism for better days ahead. I'm so grateful that I got to spend more time with her this past year. I will miss you dear friend.

Carol cared for our fish and plants for more 10 years. We looked forward to our annual August catch-ups on all that happened during the year. We knew she had health problems and even then offered to come walk our dog while Dave was in the hospital. What a kind, caring person, you will be missed Carol. Sympathy to your family. Lynn Suits and David Lamkin.
