Carol and I worked together and have known each other for 12 years. She was my inspriration to continue with the writing of my autobiography. She was there for me through many a family crisis. I'll never forget her wonderful story about assisting the "cat lady" at Cabrini Green. I was blessed to have Carol and Les as friends. She was such a strong person and faced her illness in the most courageous way. Her spirt will remain with me always.
