Carol Lee Sanders

I was trading emails with a high school classmate the other day that was, and is still, involved in the Miss Oklahoma pageant and then I saw where George Strella passed away. That got me to thinking about Carol and how wonderful it was to work with her through all those years I was in Kiwanis. Then, I got a reminder in an email about her passing a year ago. Carol, you are greatly missed.

Blake and I so wish we could be there for you Ernie. I got to know your mother only briefly, but she did have a significant impact on my life when we brought our first born into the world. Please know we think of you often and are saddened by your loss. Julia is still in the same place and knows how to get in touch with us if you should want to.

I met Carol When I Was in the Kiwanis club while I lived in Tulsa a few years back. Her friendliness an enthusiastic attitude made me feel welcome, and she always supported everyone with sincere love and support. She was always the brightest light in the room. So sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I was in Kiwanis for many years and she was a joy to work with.

We have many Fond Memory's with Carol being actively involved in the Miss Oklahoma Pagent. May God bless The Sanders family for this great loss
