CAROL SCACCIA Obituary

SCACCIA, Carol Ann Of Dedham, MA, passed away on March 31, 2021 at the age of 72. Carol was born on October 28, 1948 in Boston, MA to Dorothy and William Thomas. After graduating from Roslindale High School, she went on to work for the MBTA, retiring after many years. Carol married her loving husband, William Scaccia, in 1999 and the two of them shared many memories together over the years. Carol enjoyed cruising, music and casinos. Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Kelly Donovan, and her brother Roger Thomas. Carol is survived by her husband William Scaccia of Dedham, MA, her children Lori Donovan, Jason Donovan, and Anthony Alicea, her siblings Barbara Fricke, William Thomas and Suzanne Thomas Hogan, her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all. A private Visitation will be held on April 7, 2021 at Gillooly Funeral Home from 10 am to 11 am. Visitation will then be open to the public from 11 am to 12 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in the Gillooly Chapel at 12 pm. Interment will be at a later date at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham, MA.
