Carol Louise Schutt

I have known Carol since she first started on the Veterans Crisis Line with me in September 2009. Carol did not stay there long, she would soon travel to Australia to spend much needed time with her brother there. Carol is a dear friend of mine, we would watch NASCAR together, go to a movie here and there and spend time on the phone talking about anything that was needed to be talked about or what we wanted to discuss. I had recently met Carol. I was struck by her insight into others and herself and how she used skill in helping others. Let me extend condolances to her family and all the people she has helped over the years.

I had recently met Carol. In the couple times we met she made a lasting impression on me - so compassionate, positive, lovely... So sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to all her friends and family and the animals she left behind including the little kitten she recently rescued from under the hood of her car. RIP gentle soul.

I was lucky enough to know Carol for many years. She was a tireless advocate for people with disabilities.

She will be missed by me and many others.
