Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry for your loss and the loss of her talent for the rest of us. We enjoy a beautiful Sebold painting of Otter Cove above our fireplace, keeping us in Maine all year long though we live in Philadelphia eleven months of the year. From what I've read, I wish we had a chance to meet the artist that is so much a part of our life.

The day I met my favorite artist. What a classy lady!

I only met Carol last year and we had a lovely chat at the Camden Art show. I was shocked to learn of her death on Saturday when we visited her booth in Camden. Luckily, I have many reminders of Carol all through our home as I have been a collector for more than 25 years. I love everyone of them, especially the orginal water color that we bought many years ago. Carol's art reminded me of my beloved Maine while we lived in Rochester NY for almost 40 years. Now we are back in Maine and her...

Dear Robin, & Scott,
Carol was one of my best friends, when living in Temperance. I also went to DeVilbiss, but did not know her then. I also, took a couple of art lessons in her garage, on Apache Trail. She charged a $1.00 a lesson. We also played cards together, once a month, at each other houses. Their was 12 of us. Two tables played Bridge, & we played Euchare. She also made a mean fondue. I have thought of her often, thru the years. I also have one of her watercolors, which I have...

Robin and Scott,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I was a neighbor in Temperance and took art lessons from your mom. I know that my dad had been to Maine and visited your mom many years ago and our Moms were very good friends and both graduates of DeVilbiss. My prayers are with you and your families. We have several of Carol's watercolors that we bought while on vacations in Maine. We love them dearly and they always have bought a smile to my face. We shall miss this wonderful artist and beautiful woman.
Fred and Carolyn Fung

Truly the most inspiring watercolor teacher I have ever had.

I met Carol when she was at cedars recovering from her knee surgery. I was one of her CNA's. I thought Carol was one of the most interesting and caring people I have met. I was so surprised and saddened to hear of her death. Please give my love and prayers to all her family. She was an amazing!

The DeVilbiss Hall of Fame Committee sends our deepest sympathy to all of you. We were honored to have her inducted and for her (and her siblings) to be a proud graduate of DeVilbiss H. S. Carol had such a delicious appetite for life and for sharing her fabulous talents! Our condolences. DeVilbiss Hall of Fame, Toledo, Ohio

I first met Carol at the Scituate (RI) Art festival and fell in love with her water colors. I purchased my first water color there and then. Over the years I continued to purchase more and commissioned Carol to do a special painting of her trip to Greece. I will miss seeing her when I revisit Camden and Lincolnville.

To Carol's family my deepest condolences. She was a very nice lady.
