Not sure what to say?

Loved your message, Muffie Blakley. So heart-felt. We must have been at Shoup camp together. . . And then visiting Squaw Creek. Vowed to stay in touch with Bev. Life [bad excuses] get in the way. Hoping Bev is doing well!!!

It may seem odd that I'm writing nearly 10 years after the loss of Carol - Birdie to me. I hadn't heard about her accident as I've been struggling with a serious illness for 11 years that leaves me out of the loop. I was looking up Carol to find Marry Looney. I found Mary. And, I found this heartbreaking news. It's a new wound for me. Bev, I'm so sorry. I met Carol, Birdie, at Girl Scout horse camp in Shoup, Idaho. My best friend, Nancy, and I followed Birdie around like little...

So many years since Carol passed. . . And so many memories of good times on Squaw Creek. Last visit she rode me around in that red pickup over hills/dales most would not drive. LOL. Hope you're doing well, Bev! My intentions of getting over to Idaho to see you have gone estray. My best to you and all of Carol's family.

Eight years since your passing , I still remember my visit with you both so vividly.

Memories of a wonderful stay with Carol and Bev, what warm hospitality with a very talented and generous team. Jan their Aussie friend.

Was thinking about Carol and Bev just the other day. Such a loss too soon. My best wishes to Bev and Carol's whole family. Selfishly on my part: wish I could bring my granddaughter - who loves horses and all things outdoors - to meet Carol and Bev and have a little of the wonderful experiences I had on Squaw Creek.

2020 - still remembering Carol and imagining her roaming the hills around Bear Creek with the si-hill gougers. Think of Bev often too. Can't imagine where the years have gone! Always thought I'd get there to see Bev or at least write. Hope all is well.

Very fond memories of Carol after my late sister Susie organised for me to stay with them on the ranch on one of my visits from Australia. How she and Bev complimented each other with their varying skills. Carol was warm, welcoming and generous of heart. Rest In Peace in that big ranch in the sky Carol. Jan Saville

Sorry for your loss. Come entertain Uncle Clifford if you a notion to ride out of the high country. Jan Bledsoe
