Not sure what to say?

To the Sica and Savage Families, I just found out today about the passing of Carol. I live in CT and decades ago, Carol directed theatre at the Mark Twain Masquers in West Hartford. She was the first person to ever cast me in a play and I did numerous plays with her, she had a great sense of humor and was a very kind, talented person. I am deeply sorry for your loss. it was shocking when I found out. My deepest condolences.

Carol Sica was one of my most influential professors at Hosfstra. I have thought of her often. I’m sad at her passing. Prayers for her and her family.

I had the lucky pleasure of being a student actor in one of Carol's productions at Hofstra University in the early 1970s. She directed me with kindness, good humor, grace, insightfulness and made me feel valued and heard as a young artist. I shall be forever grateful to her. The confidence she showed in my work helped me going forward as a professional. She will always be a part of me. My condolences to her family.

I was a theatre major at Clark University when Carol was head of the Theatre department . Carol was my adviser, mentor, and friend . She was a brilliant teacher and director . I particularly remember her intelligence, compassion ,and wit . She and I shared a special bond and I will always think of her with love .
Sending condolences to Marcia , Julie, and all her family .

So sad to hear of Carols passing. I remembered her fondly from time spent around her in the late 90s early 2000s. She provided me with a lot of encouragement. Thank you both for seeing in me the potential I had not yet seen in myself. Rest in Peace Carol. Condolences to Marcia and the family. Sending prayers of comfort, love and hope❤

The world has lost a loving, powerful, funny, smart, dynamic force for good. I am sending all the love, peace and caring I can muster to you and your family Marcia.

So sorry to learn this sad news, while planning to call Carol to catch up after several years. She and I were classmates (she in acting, I in directing) at Yale School of Drama... then, coincidentally, teaching colleagues in the theatre department at Hofstra University. And years later learned that she was a neighbor of my sister and brother-in-law in the Berkshires, where we reconnected. A wonderful actor, teacher and mentor...brilliant, witty and warm. To Marcia, whom I had the pleasure...

I send light and love to you Marcia and Julie... A beautiful soul...Carol was filled with a sense of justice and love for others. I can still hear her angelic voice as well as her outrageous wit and humor!

Carol was my best friend. I love her so.
