When I was a kid, our family spent time with the Smith family. My Mom, Carolyn Ferguson (Brown, VanNevele) went to high school with Carol and was a matron in David & Carol´s wedding. I remember dinners at our homes in Portland and visits to the beach house on Devils Lake in Lincoln City. Our families lost touch over the years until David contacted me a few years ago on Facebook.
