It seems as though I cannot stop thinking of you. Missing you. Wishing you were still here with us. Wishing the love of my life could meet you, because I know he would love your beautiful mind and soul. You were and still are such an undying inspiration in my life. My childhood is filled with memories with you in your home that felt like it belonged to no aspect of the real world.. A place that brought out so much creativity and light. I would give anything to sit around with you and listen...

We are going to miss you greatly Carol. You were an inspiration to us all. Thank you for being such a wonderful mother and friend to me. Thank you for being such a loving grandmother to my children. You made a difference in our lives and will continue to do so. We will miss seeing your smile and hearing your laughter. We will miss our conversations where we always learned a little more about the world. If I ever needed help remembering an event, you always knew the exact date and time....

I wish to express condolences to all of the Stansfields/Kendalls for their loss. Carol was a kind, intelligent and funny lady. It was readily apparent upon meeting her, that her family was what she valued most in life. I will miss her smiling face at future family events. Heather Kendall

We will miss Carol. She was always smiling and loved to read. She was the most voracious reader I knew and could always tell you if the book you were considering was a good bet or not.
We will miss you Carol.

I've been aware of Carol and Kim and the whole Stansfield clan as long as I've been aware of my own. I always felt like a member of the family. Carol was one of the most talented and funniest people i have ever known. I will miss her stories, some of which she liked to tell many times! I will miss her invites to family reunions, the way she thought of her pets as actual people, and the love she put out into the world. I will miss her laughter the most.
