Not sure what to say?

Carol was a joy to see, know and visit with. Her interests were extraordinary and included everyone and everything. She was so much fun to work with at the bookcache downtown. And so knowledgeable. It is possible she read everything she touched. And she adored her children. May her memory be eternal and her rest full of love.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Mom,

So much has changed, and after four months later...I still can't believe you're gone. I love you and miss you so much. It's amazing how much you taught me in life, but in death...so much more. I wish it could have been the opposite.

I love you forever and always,
Rachel

I think of Carol often. We laughed and yelled throughout the years especially at work. Carol was gracious, generous and outspoken. Logic and ethics is all that people needed to learn was her motto. She will not be forgotten.

Carol I remember you so well and the fun we had playing games

Mom,
It's been a month, but for me it feels as if it just happened. I miss you so much. I hope you know how much I loved you and how sorry I am for all of the times we could have appreciated each other and didn't. I chose to keep this book online for a while, maybe I'll use it to keep myself strong, and a place to talk to you. I haven't felt you, but I am pretty sure you were there last Friday, someone protected me, Emma says she saw you, flowing white gown with long dark hair. Thank...

Taken from us a bit too soon. I'm so Thankful for the gift of Carol's unique personality and the joy it brought to my life. The memory of her will remain with me forever. May God Bless you all!

It's a good thing I haven't read all the books Carol suggested reading. Discovery of Slowness is on my agenda.

Rachel

Always good memories and a smile on my face when I think of Carol. I worked with her years ago at the UAA Bookstore and am glad to have known her. I am sorry for your loss.
