Not sure what to say?

Dearest Carol was a special and very close friend of mine for over 45 years. Having met in San Francisco in the 60's, we shared housing, significant experiences, jobs, humor, friends and confidences, I cannot begin to express the sad loss her passing has left with me. She had an intense sensitivity which included respect and compassion for all life forms, a love of learning, and loyalty and compassion for her loved ones. Her charming eccentricities endeared her to me in life and I will love...

Carol was a very special friend even if an ocean separated us. We shared so many happy moments, family events, summer trips that I will not forget, conversations, discussions, often only mail correspondence. We both were aunts and adored to watch our nieces growing up. I miss Carol, it is so sad. My condolences to the family.

It was my privilege to know and care for Carol. I will miss caring for her. Thank you Skip for introducing us. -Sharon Vermilye, RN

Dearest family,
I am very sorry to hear of Carol's passing and am gratified that she had such a productive and generous life. May you be strengthened by wonderful memories.
Sincerely,
Betty Levey Tecklin, classmate

I am very sorry to hear of Carol's death. She was always so compasionate about her feelings and as a younger family friend's daughter, I was totally enthralled. I hope her passions were met, and she had the life of which she dreamed.
