My sincere condolences to Mel and the family, I am very sorry to hear the passing of Carol, she was a very independent and sweet and loving person.

I am deeply affected by the passing of Carol. I really loved her, and tried to maintain our family's connection with her after both of my parents died. I just discovered a very long and loving message she left on my voice mail after my father died 19 months ago! I'm so glad I saved it. To Mel, Stevi, Jill and the entire family, I am thinking of you so much and hoping your closeness as a family gets you through this most difficult time. With love,

Carol was always dear to my heart, and deeply admired. I met her and Mel in 1985 in Boca Raton, and always considered them to be so fun, down-to-earth, lovers of life, and inspirational.
