CAROL TELLO

Beautiful, stunning, brilliant, and vibrant, it's still hard to believe that loved, respected Carol Smith Tello (WM '64) is no longer with us....gone but never forgotten. Katherine Burge Callaway '64

We will miss our beautiful Carol at the W&M Class of 1968 55th Reuniin in October 2023. A brilliant, accomplished member of our class, Carol's name will be read with our "Sunsets," those classmates who have passed away since our 50th Reunion. Carol is gone but not forgotten, lovingly remembered.

I shared time with Carol at our 45th Class Reunion at William & Mary in 2013. We were members of a large group of Tri Deltas that met for lunch at the Williamsburg Inn and then Carol and I toured the Tri Delta House together. In college (1964-1968) and in 2013, Carol was brilliant, accomplished, and strikingly beautiful. This loss is heart breaking. Katherine Burge Callaway

On my last day with Carol, we gave a panel presentation, split a post-panel cheese plate and drinks, then spent several hours chatting on a sunny hotel patio before catching a flight back home. I am grateful to have known her, and to have an absolutely perfect memory of her. She was a friend and mentor, and a driving force within the tax community. We will miss her terribly.
