My family lived across the street from Carol and Jim in Lake Oswego. She was a friend of my mother's when I was growing up, then later, my friend too. I miss the wonderful conversations with her.

Carol had a special grace. I fondly remember our time together in our poetry group, with Beverly Partridge, and our trips to the symphony. I shall miss her dearly.

A tribute to Carol:
When dear ones die, sorrow is deep but thankfulness can come in
abundance. Carol was my closest and dearest friend for 82 years. My
heart is full of gratitude and love for this wonderful friendship.
Carol was a totally beautiful and gifted woman, never to be forgotten.
My condolances especially go to Norma and Joyce and Jane and Binkie.
I am so sorry I cannot attend the remembrance service.
