For reasons I cannot explain, I was drawn to the local section of The Sacramento Bee this morning and learned of the passing of Dr. Tomlinson-Keasey. I was a student of Dr. Tomlinson-Keasey in a developmental psychology course at UC-Riverside in 1984. The material from her course not only remains with me as a practicing psychologist today but Dr. Tomlinson-Keasey's teaching style is one I have tried to emulate as a part-time college professor.
