My condolences to the family and friends of Carol. I met her just once. What a wonderfully motherly and jolly lady. During that single meeting she became the center of my attention. I will never forget our repartee and how much we laughed. I think she thought I was a little weird (a testament to her good judgment) but her welcoming spirit and humor created a warm connection between us. When I returned to Philly I often thought of future times when I would see her again during my visits...
