We are sorry to hear of Carol's passing. She and John were very supportive and active members of the San Diego Leon Sister City Society. We missed them greatly when they moved from San Diego

There are those people in life that touch your heart and you are pleased to have them with you. Carol, however, was a person that entered our life and grabbed a piece of our soul. Life was better blessed for us when we came to know her. There is such agony in her parting. We are deeply sorry for your loss, Van. We cannot know your sorrow but know that your loss of one loved, is shared.

Carol was the passion and heart of the BayVu condominium Homeowners Association where she and Van spent so many years in San Diego.
She was an inspiring leader and more than carried her load in making BayVu a better place to live. When she moved from BayVu she left a hole that could not be filled. We missed when she left and now miss her even more. Van you must be sad but, how fortunate to have her fro so long. She was an outstanding person—one in a million!
