WARNER, Carol S. - Of Flint, age 81, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Swank Assisted Living.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
A private burial will take place in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday and 1:00pm on Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Carol was born in Flint, Michigan on July 20, 1941 the daughter of the late Jerald and Hazel (Wilfong) Taft. On September 19, 1975, she married Karroll B. Warner in Flint. Carol was a longtime mall walker. She loved watching her grandson’s baseball games. Carol also enjoyed spending time with family and playing cards with friends.
Surviving are daughter, Teresa (Matthew) Brassaw;
daughter-in-law, Yana Warner;
grandchildren, Logan, Haley, Karl and James;
sister, Nan Loftin;
brother, Richard (Betty) Taft;
niece and nephews, Steve, Lisa, Marc, Jason;
and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karroll B. Warner in 2001.
Contributions may be made in Carol’s memory to McLaren Hospice or a dog rescue of one’s choice.

Carol was a great neighbor. She was the 1st one to greet me, when I moved into the neighborhood. We were always lending each other a hand. She was a genuine caring human being, and she will be missed. (I had covid and could not attend the services) God Bless the family.
