Carol & I met in 1970 when I began my teaching career at Middletown Elementary School . She was in the " old building" across the hall from Carlotta Hayes . What loving teachers they both were. Carol & I taught together many, many years . She loved kids . She loved people & had a beautiful smile . Way back when , I would go to her house & " frost" her hair in the kitchen . My prayers go out to your family. I first met Mrs. Watson, while in 11th grade back in 1975 at Middletown High School. I was a student aide for her, Mrs. Brandenburg, and Mrs. Pritts helping students with achieving reading and math skills. Your mom was a kind, caring, and gentle soul that truly loved teaching these little ones. I will never forget her sweet words when I lost my grandma. My heart was broken but she told me to hold fast to all the good memories we had. And so I say to you...

She was my first grade teacher. I can't tell you how thrilled I was when she was also my son's first grade teacher. I have always had fond memories of her. We are sorry for your loss.
