She was like a Mom to me I still miss her. I have a recipe that she shared with me and every time I make it I think of the many times we shared!

So sad to see this obituary. I was not in contact with Carol for 10 years, but she and Dad were the most precious friends one could have. Her kids may contact me anytime at 817-894-1204.

Carol was a true friend, I will miss her terribly. The world suffers a great loss but our Lord & Savior gain a new tenet. So long for now Carol, I will see you someday along with Chaplain Withrow your dear hubby!

“Live while you are alive” by
Ben Okri. Carol definitely fulfilled this quote. I was blessed to have her as my lab instructor while in nursing school 30 years ago. I loved hearing of her many adventures, one of my favorites was her trip to the ice hotel. She always had a hug, and a story to tell when I would see her around town. I offer my deepest sympathy and love to her family and friends, she will be missed.

Carol was a nursing student of mine and I loved her enthusiasm and compassionate care she give her patients. I also had the privilege of working with her after she joined the faculty at ECC and was such an asset to the nursing program. We always had fun and laughter when Carol was around!! She had her wings a long time ago but now they have carried her to her Lord!!

She was one of my instructors in nursing school at ECTC over 30 yrs ago. It is because of her that I went on to have a successful and meaningful career in the field of nursing and healthcare. She was an inspiration and mentor to so many people offering unconditional love, acceptance and encouragement to all. May God bless you in this time of sorry and grief. Just know that her legacy lives on.

She worked at Gates in the absence of our nurse. She was an awesome and special lady.

Grandchildren, your grandparents introduced themselves to me as Mom and Dad when I served with them in the Army. I saw Mom as Beth Moore, Wonder Women, and Danica Patrick rolled into one. Every time we ran into her, she would tell us about her latest adventure. I share with you a verse read at my Mother's funeral that has meant much to me in the 49 years she's been gone. Romans 8:18 LUV U reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glories that shall be revealed in us. Enjoy the memories!!!
