Not sure what to say?

My memory of Mrs. Blubaugh is that she taught at my HS Bishop Manogue and her daughter Carolyn was in my class. I had no idea of her fascinating life. She certainly was a woman to be admired and cherished.

This was 18 years ago. Aunt Carola (I´m her nephew) were in town for a concert. The little girl there, my daughter Elizabeth, named after Aunt Carola´s mom, is now in college studying economics. I´ll always remember the amusing bickering between my aunt and my mom (her sister)-and, way back when, with Grandma Charles as well, at one of the many Christmas dinners we had between Sacramento and Oroville. I´ll remember how much she enjoyed teaching and her students. I´ll remember the time when...

Mrs. Blubaugh was one of my favorite Bishop Manogue teachers of one of my favorite classes, AP US History, where she kindled my love of historical fiction and US history. It was a privilege to learn from and know her. My deepest condolences to her family.

I will always remember Mrs. Blubaugh as one of my teachers at Bishop Manogue. She was funny and made class interesting. I remember her dressing up one year for Halloween as a ghost and she taught the class with a sheet over her. Prayers for her family. A teacher I will never forget.

I called her: Mrs. Blubaugh, one of the coolest high school teachers I had. Her legacy will live on with me too! Thank you for being here teaching us & guiding us.

Thank you for sharing your mother´s life and legacy. Carola was a wonderful neighbor and we miss her friendly smile and conversations. You mention her love of Japanese maple. She shared a little sampling with me and now it is a huge tree hovering over our front walkway giving us wonderful shade in the summers. May Carola rest in peace and our condolences go to husband Ron and her children and grandchildren.

Deepest condolences to Ron and the Blubaugh family. We didn´t know Carola other than chats after Sunday mass. Her many good works and deeds, however, mirrored Ron´s strong intellect and integrity. A perfect couple. His devoted care during her illness reflected their enduring affection.
