Carole and I were "fierce" tennis opponents between Kiawah and Snee Farm.. Whenever we got together, we spent more time kibitzing (a Yiddish word) about silly stuff. We had much in common: teaching English, growing up in Brooklyn and our sense of humor, but she was far more intelligent than I !! I am certain no one fought harder than Carole (as she always did on the tennis court) at the end! She will be missed.
