Carole Griveas

I, too, just learned about Carole´s death, and am sad to hear about her passing. We met in 1964 when we started our first jobs at a major law firm in Cleveland. (We used to tease each other about actually having met in the maternity unit at Deaconess Hospital where we were born two days apart-me on September 16: and Carole on the 18th.). Carole and Tom were friends of my husband Brian and I and frequently we went to events together in the early 1970s . Tom made dinner reservations for the four of us at a now defunct steakhouse. We were given the best table and a complimentary bottle of wine. We could not figure why. As we exited the manager mispronounced Griveas and we then knew he was mistaken for the owner´s family. Fond memories of days gone bye. May she rest in eternal peace.

I just learned of Carole's passing today and am so sorry to hear the news. Carole worked at LHS with me where she was always super helpful, but also was one the very nice swim parents when Jennifer swam on the Lakewood Rec. Team for me. My condolences go out to her extended family and hope fond memories with her help ease the pain of losing her.
