My heart is extremely sad today after receiving the notice of Carole's death from my cousin, Emily (Martin) Hall. Although I hadn't seen Carole in a quite a while, my mind immediately flipped back to the days we were growing up and visiting my aunt, Pearl Martin, next door to Carole's childhood home.
