Carole J. Chittenden, 78, passed away August 3, 2025. She was a Regional Senior Sales Consultant-Commercial Markets for TDS Telecom. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Dorothy Harlow Houghton. She is survived by her husband, Randy Chittenden; children, Holly (Charles) McNally and Cory Johnson; grandchildren, Brittney Hanlon and Bryndan (Ashley) Hanlon; great grandchild, Harper Nichole Hanlon; and sister, Bonnie (Ron) Reynolds.
Carole was an avid card player – euchre was her game of choice – but she also loved dominoes, board games, online games, and Jackbox TV. Casino-hopping and cruises were also favorite vacation getaways.
She was a feisty, funny, vibrant Grammy that always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she will be missed very much.
Contributions may be made to Misty Eyes Animal Center in Avon. In accordance with Carole’s wishes, there will be no public service.
