Not sure what to say?

I was very saddened to hear of the news that my Aunt Carol had passed. I am very thankful that I was able to see her one last time during the Christmas holidays. It is a time that I will forever hold in my heart.

Carole, was a wonderful colleague! I very much enjoyed her dedicated professionalism and her sense of humor. After Carole retired, I occasionally ran into her at the mall and always enjoyed the few minutes we shared catching up. Carole loved her family and looked forward to spending time with them after she retired. She loved and was loved. May memories bring you peace!

My sympathy to Carol's family in your loss. I worked with Carol in the Migrant Education Office when I first came to the Department. Carol was a straight shooter and a big help to me in beginning my career with the Department of Education.

This was emailed to all California Department of Education employees on February 16, 2005. I wanted to share it with Carole's family and friends.

I am very sad to share with you that Carole Penner passed away on February 6, 2005 after a long illness. I remember Carol's kind, helpful, and friendly spirit in her work with the California Department of Education. I am sorry to hear of her passing, yet know that her love for her family and friends will never waiver from their hearts.

Carole and I had a working acquaintance and she was compentent, professional, and generous with her knowledge.

I was very saddened to learn of Carole's passing. I worked in the Bilingual Education Office with Carole many years ago and we became good friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

I Just wanted to say that I didn't know her all that well, and after seeing her picture I felt like I've known her all my life, and it seems like she had a wonderful, and blessed life, and I'm praying that the lord is with her. May God Bless her family, and their hour of bereavement.

To the family of Carole Penner, I worked with Carol in the Amnesty Education Office, and always enjoyed listening to her talk about her husband and her daughter, Kim. I enjoyed working with her, she was a very bright and thorough employee. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family.
