Carole Rubenstein

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. Rubenstein. She was my preschool Teacher at the Nature Center, and although I am now in my late 40s, I remember her as such a sweet patient Teacher. One of my favorites! I was painfully shy and she allowed my Mom to stay with me until I felt comfortable. Thankfully, because of her kindness I was comfortable with her very quickly. We are so sad to hear of Carole's passing. My girls were blessed to have had her as a teacher/director at The Westport Nature Center. She will be fondly remembered for her love of children, nature, and of course, her red sneakers!
