I was saddened to hear of Carole's death---she was the "compleat physician" and role model of a health provider who exhibited dedication to social justice, altruism and plain common sense about health care delivery. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I cannot imagine what it must be like for you to to be alone after all these years with Carole. I am sure that your family will be looking out for you and that since you are a very strong person you will endure the loss and grow with the knowledge that she made a difference for many people in Alabama. I found Carole to be such a positive person and I really enjoyed talking to her several months ago. I was so sorry to learn of her death; you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
