Not sure what to say?

Sending love to Len, her girls and family. Carrie´s work in District 47 is still reaching students on a daily basis. Her example of believing in student´s potential is a gift she has left behind for all of us to follow. She is greatly missed and her family remains in our hearts!

Carrie Crane was everyone´s parachute in the classroom. She gave the teachers of D47 every opportunity to learn from the true leaders in literary education, stood up tirelessly for what was then "best practice," and she was the biggest resource for "whatever it takes" to get all kids reading and writing. Oh, I loved and respected her with all my heart.

Carrie was always ready with a smile and a kind word. She was a true champion for children and literacy. She made such a huge impact on so many lives. She would light up when she spoke of her girls and grandchildren. I loved running into her and Len at Greekfest. She is gone too soon. Hugs, prayers and love for the whole Crane family. Carrie was one of the sweetest people you would ever meet. I remember all the slumber parties at her house. It is so hard losing yet another classmate and friend. Prayers for her family. RIP Carrie
