I have always thought of my Aunt Caroline as the embodiment of southern charm and hospitality. She had a generous smile that welcomed everyone. I will always cherish those Saturday afternoons after the Auburn game when Daddy and I would "drop by" the president's house. I would usually wander the grounds imagining life in a grand manor or sit in the kitchen being pampered while Daddy enjoyed mingling with the adults.
