Not sure what to say?

Dear Macomber family,

I am saddened to hear of your loss, the loss of someone who clearly touched many, many people.

In sympathy and condolence,

Chester Crocker

As a person, mentor, and role model, Caroline was one of a kind--and of a kind not likely to be seen soon again. It was such a pleasure--and an education in how to live a life--to get her advice or just to talk with her. She met every new idea and every person with such open-eyed interest and grace. We will miss her very much.

Our prayers are with you. Carolyn was a true friend and will be missed.

Sue and I count as honor our time at The Phillips Collection and Caroline's quite, graceful influence. She was 100% class in all she did. We are deeply saddened by this sudden loss. Rich & Sue Rutledge

My deepest sympathy for your loss. May you draw close to God during this difficult time and He will draw close to you. James4:8

Dear family of Caroline
I had the pleasure of working with Caroline as she worked on the North Haven Land Trust. She loved the coast of Maine and her dedication to its conservation leaves a legacy for all to enjoy and be nourished by.
She will be missed.
Lucy McCarthy

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Caroline's thoughtfulness, compassion and her love for North Haven will be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
