A great lady and wonderful neighbor. While out on her walks, she sat on my porch a few times and we thoroughly enjoyed the company of this kind woman. She was so modest I had no idea of all her accomplishments. I did not even know she was the sister of John Southworth with whom I shared a warm friendship of many years. I did know what a great mother and neighbor she was and her smile could light the universe. So sad to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with her family.

As the former Postmaster of Blandford and member of The Blandford Club, it was a pleasure and honor to know such a kind person. Carol was a wonderful lady.
