Caroline Peloso

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Peloso's passing. She was one of my most favorite teachers at Georgetown Hill. May you take comfort in your memories of her. Thank you for an obituary so rich in details about her very special and eventful life which had an important impact on so many people.

When I moved to Potomac, Maryland, in the middle of the winter in second grade, Mrs. Peloso was my teacher. She was such a warm, comforting, and matter-of-fact presence in the classroom. It made what could've been a tough move much easier. Thinking of her fondly and sending all my sympathies.

Mrs Peloso was my second grade teacher, and the experience was the first time I realized that an amazing teacher made all the difference in the world to a student. She made classes fun, exciting, and memorable, and she was there to provide comfort when my prized radioscope accidentally smashed on the floor. Mrs Peloso also gave me my first opportunity to teach.
