Not sure what to say?

Dear
Elizabeth,
I was so very sorry to hear of your mother's death in your newsletter.
However, I know the memories you have of her in your heart will help
you through this difficult time and you will smile in the future when
you think of her.
Sincerely yours,

I'm so very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. Caroline was such a lovely, warm, & gracious person & I enjoyed getting to know her on our visits up north. May your warm memories surround you & bring you comfort. Our thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow. With deepest sympathy, Joyce & George Larocque

I knew Caroline Sax for about 15 years. She was as gracious and fine a woman as I have known. She will be a great loss to all of us. I saw her under situations of great stress but I never saw her become depressed or unable to cope.

I consider having Caroline as a friend for 35 years a great privilege, she always had a kind word and had a wicked sense of humor. I miss her warm and motherly words and her constant positive attitude.
Good bye dear friend.

I send my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I was very sad to learn of Elizabeth's mother's passing, and I am thinking of you in this trying time.

I will miss Caroline terribly. I knew her through her granddaughter, Rena, and was so touched by how she unreservedly treated me like family from the moment we met. I have wonderful memories of dinners, trips to museums and Broadway shows with her I'll always cherish.

Mrs. Saxe asked me to help her cross the street several years back. This serendipitous meeting was the beginning of an amazing relationship with Elizabeth and her family. My deep sympathy and thoughts are with you at this time.

We are saddened with a sudden loss of our beloved Carolyne Saxe.

Adam & Yohko Yokoi

I will greatly miss Aunt Caroline and I am so sad that she is no longer with us. She was so kind & generous & poised & gracious, she taught us Yokoi girls a great deal and she made the best matzoh ball soup! I will miss her smile and how she used to always say "marvelous!"
