I knew Caroline Sax for about 15 years. She was as gracious and fine a woman as I have known. She will be a great loss to all of us. I saw her under situations of great stress but I never saw her become depressed or unable to cope.

I will miss Caroline terribly. I knew her through her granddaughter, Rena, and was so touched by how she unreservedly treated me like family from the moment we met. I have wonderful memories of dinners, trips to museums and Broadway shows with her I'll always cherish.

I will greatly miss Aunt Caroline and I am so sad that she is no longer with us. She was so kind & generous & poised & gracious, she taught us Yokoi girls a great deal and she made the best matzoh ball soup! I will miss her smile and how she used to always say "marvelous!"
