Dear Jay, Joie, John & Jim, I was so sad to read about Carol in the Post. I met Carol prior to Peggy & Dug's marriage; and was lucky enough to enjoy her company on many occasions. Carol was a force of nature; and was one of the kindest individuals I know. Her work ethic, her energy, and her boundless good humor inspired all who met her. What a blessing in your lives she was! The members of the Auxiliary of Inova Fairfax Medical Campus are saddened to read of Caroline's passing. She was a valuable member of the team and has been missed since she moved. Many of us remember her kindness and wonderful smile.

The greatest mom in the world! I ought to know being the younger son. But don't take my word for it. Ask anyone outside the family who knew her & they'll tell you. A more giving, loving, caring person you will not find! And what a sense of humor!
