Not sure what to say?

I was in elementary school when I met Harvey and became a welcome extended member of the Skerker family. I have many fine memories of the Speakers from those days. Sam left us early followed many years later by Rena and now we say good by to Carrie. Farewell Nurse Carrie. Know you are loved and will be missed. Our sincere condolences to Harvey and the entire Skerkerfamily.

Harvey and all the extended family,

Carrie and I go back over 55 years to Y Day Camp. I was so happy to see her work there mentioned in the obituary, as we all learned so much from her in that role! You and the family have been wonderful with her, especially in the more difficult last few years, truly honoring your Mother at her most vulnerable time.
May her memory be for a blessing for you and your family as time goes by. She was an amazing woman!

Harvey and Family

May the memories of your mother and grandmother bring comfort to you in this time of your sorrow.

Dear Harvey & family! So sorry for your Loss, our deepest Sympathy to you & your family

Carrie will be missed especially at Ruth's House. I will miss all her wonderful family and fur animals coming into visit her. Carrie was a lovely lady who cared about everyone.

We will always treasure the visits over the years to see Carrie and the shared laughs we all had. She will be missed but will live on thru those close to her! Her memory truly is a blessing! Hugs to Harvey and the rest of the family.

I remember Carrie as the camp Nurse at Y Day camp. I recall having found what I thought was a priceless gem (a costume jewelry earring that looked like diamonds) in the road on a 'hike'. Carrie helped me clean it off and find a box for the valuable acquisition. The only real gem that day was Carrie, who creatively dealt with a toddler's imagination. That happened about 60 years ago.
May her memory be for a blessing and in time, may you all find peace, fond, lasting memories and stories to...

I will always remember Carrie as a warm and welcoming woman. Harvey, you were a wonderful and attentive son. I know that you made her final years comfortable and loving.
