Caroline Tucker

So sad that the world lost Caroline. I cherished our many telephone chats since I met her about 10 years ago. Met her in person twice and her family is so amazing. Her father was my mom's cousin but they never met. So happy we made our connection. I have a big hole in my heart. Sending sympathies to the family.

Always adored Caroline. We met when I joined my late mother-in-law, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, in 2000. We shared March Birthdays. I enjoyed our many conversations, over the decades we knew each other. I never lost touch with Caroline, because she was so very intelligent and had so many stories to tell me about her life and her love of her late husband and her children. Our last visit was when she was in health care at Brandermill Woods. Before that time, when she was still living...

In moments like these, we search for the right way to express sympathy and offer comfort, even as we worry that our words might fall short. In remembrance, I like to think Aunt Carolyn is now reunited with her brother-my father-her sisters, Olie and Ethel, and of course her husband, Jim. My mother is probably nearby. Say hello for me.

Our deepest condolences to the family. Caroline and Jim were our back-yard neighbors for twenty years. They were so warm, and so welcoming to us. Our remembrances of them are very pleasant and always bring joy to our heart and smiles to our face.
