Carolyn Jo Andrews (Reed), 81, of Norman, OK, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2018, surrounded by family after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie Reed and Jamie Reed; sister, Mickey McCune and brother, John Reed. Carolyn was born on September 16, 1936 in Gainesville, TX to the late Johnnie Reed and Jamie Tuckness (Reed). Carolyn graduated from Alhambra High School in 1955. She married Ronald H. Andrews, having two children, Ronald Joe Andrews Sr. and Robin Louise Andrews. They resided in Norwalk, CA for many years. Carolyn also spent many years in Lancaster, CA with her close friends, Patty and Sheila Avery. Carolyn was a wonderful homemaker, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. In her younger years, Carolyn loved to take road trips, she especially loved road trips to Las Vegas with friends and family. They called her the "Keno Queen". She also loved to bowl. She was in a bowling league in Lancaster, CA, where she was the League Champion 1991-1992. Carolyn was known for her kind, outgoing, loving spirit. She spent her days with family and many friends. She was very proud of her family. She had 7 grandchildren and 6 great-granddaughters, whom she loved with all her heart. Carolyn is survived by her son, Ronald Andrews Sr. and his wife Della Andrews; daughter, Robin Crisp and her husband, Donnie Crisp; sisters, Frankie Almanza, Donna Hartley, Juanelle Jeanes, and Sandy McGowen; brother, Joe Bob Reed; grandchildren, Kristin Pistilli, Ronald Andrews Jr., Jonathon Andrews, Katie Leinow, Skylar Munzing, Hans Munzing and Ava Munzing; great-granddaughters, Kira Pistilli, Kylee Pistilli, Kamryn Pistilli, Remington Andrews, Ariel DeConzo and Isabella DeConzo. Carolyn is also survived by numerous nieces,nephews and family friends, whom she deeply loved. Carolyn will be remembered in death as she was in life: With great love.
