Chandler, Arizona - Carolyn Crace Blevins, age 87, died in her Arizona home on Friday, July 7, 2023 with family at her side. Preceding her in death were her parents, Sarah Hobson Crace and Dallas Crace as well as her son, Robert Crace Blevins.
Mrs. Blevins is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert Lynnwood Blevins, her daughter, Robin Blevins Cummins (Don), son John Blevins (Nancy), grandchildren Alison Cummins Barnhart (Ryan), Erin Blevins Kahne (Patrick), Matthew Blevins, Laura Cummins and great-grandchildren Claire Barnhart and Aiden Kahne.
Mrs. Blevins was a graduate of Campbellsville High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. After settling in Lexington, Kentucky, Mrs. Blevins worked for the University of Kentucky, travelled extensively and spent many winters in Arizona. She attended Central Baptist Church in Lexington where she made wonderful friends, taught Sunday School and demonstrated her faith.
Mrs. Blevins had a broad and vibrant group of friends. As well, she was hostess to international families and friends. Her door was always open, as was her heart, and her beautiful smile brought light into every room. Ultimately, she was proudest of her family and the families they have created.
A service will be held in Campbellsville, Kentucky at a future date.
