Carolyn Bond

Carolyn Bond, 65 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Thursday, August 4, 2011, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born Saturday, November 24, 1945 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Foster Hardison and Odell Joines Hardison of Penrod, KY who survives. She was the wife of Sidney Bond (47 1/2 years) who survives. She was employed by Save A Lot as a cashier. She was a member of Epley Baptist Church. She let her light shine at church, home and work. Psalms Chapter 37, versus 39 - 40: But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. Surviving are son, Chris Bond - (Tammy) of Russellville, KY, daughters, Renee Hughes - (Gary) of Russellville, KY and Denise Lyne - (Paul) of Russellville, KY, brothers, Russell Hardison of Quality, KY and Jewel Hardison of Hopkinsville, KY, sister, Margie Carver of Penrod, KY grand daughters, Kayla Hughes, Nikki Piper and Jennie Mae Bond all of Russellville, KY, grand sons, Jon Paul Lyne of Barren Plains, TN and Justin Hughes of Russellville, KY, Foster and Layne Bond of Russellville, KY, great grand daughter, Maylie Lyne of Barren Plains, TN and great grand son, Paul Mason Lyne of Barren Plains, TN. A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Don Piper and Rev. Tommy Webb officiating. Interment will be in Bond Family Cemetery, Buena Vista Road, Russellville, KY. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
