Words cannot express my feelings for "Dear Heart". She was my second Mom, adopting me in my 7th grade year at J.B. Martin Jr. High. She took me home an I became part of the family. She has always been there for me. I loved her and will truly miss her. God be with you Andrew, Andy and Anndrelle.

I worked with Dear Heart at HHS for several years. Her warm heart and never ending smile always brightened the room when she walked in. She taught my children and she was a pleasure to talk to as a parent, she was always willing to go the extra to help out any student that needed her help. She will be sadly missed by myself and everyone else she came to know. She touched so many lives in her years and she was an angel here on earth but she will be the most beautiful angel in heaven. My condolences to her family.We all share in the heartbreak of the loss of Dear Heart.I will miss her terribly. God bless all of you.She was loved by everyone she came into contact with.

Mrs.Butler taught me at Lakewood Jr. High. She was a wonderful teacher who made learning fun! Being a teacher myself, I hope I make an impact on my students like she did on me and numerous others.

"Dear Heart".....such a beautiful woman. She taught me Civics my freshman year and never forgot my face or name my entire time at Hahnville. She was an excellent teacher and an even better person. My heart weeps at the passing of this wonderful person from this world, but I feel better knowing that she is an even more beautiful angel in Heaven watching over all of us.

Mrs. Butler was my favorite teacher! She taught Civics to most of my family. She always lighted up a room with her bubbly personality and was a very lovable person! She will be dearly missed and always remembered!
