Not sure what to say?

Carolyn was the perfect next-door neighbor, great role model as a professional woman and the best collie-loving, daily walker ever! We have enjoyed knowing her adult children and we send our sympathy to them. Carolyn always said she wanted to stay in the house where she raised her family and we are so glad she was able to breathe her last in her Pinewood Lane home.

When I joined DHEC many years ago Carolyn was one of the first health professionals I met. She taught me so much over the years. Her wisdom of community development principles and building Pärtner relationships were lessons that served me well during my career. Carolyn mentored so many ... I consider myself privileged to be In that group. Prayers for her family.

While it has been some time since I have seen Carolyn (21 years), I am saddened to hear of her passing, though she lived a blessed and wonderful life with Bob and her children. She gave of herself to so many people to make the world better. I was her CEO at Piedmont Medical Center for 13 years and valued her energy, her connections, her instincts, and her love for the hospital. She was invaluable to me in building the hospital, and we had fun in the process. My sincerest best to her...

Laurie I so sorry for the loss of your mother. Praying for you Liza Lyn & Reid.

My memories of Carolyn go back to our days in The Junior Women's Club and the time our husbands were members of Toastmasters. Your dad surely did come up with some fantastic, humorous topics for his speeches! At a later time, we were in a group made up of an interesting assortment of couples that delved into some of the deeper meanings of life. All in all, your mom was a very special lady!

Lyn and Laurie, I have missed Carolyn so much. She was a treat as a friend and as an occasional co-conspirator! So pleasant, so bright, so willing to help. You can recall, and surely be proud of, her accomplishments in so many roles!

Laurie and Lynn, Prayers for comfort but also joy. Ran the race. fought the good fight and kept the faith. You are the proof of her life well lived. Remember the joy.

Lynn and family you are in my thoughts and prayers .

Laurie, I pray you find comfort at this time. Thinking of you and while I am sad for her passing, I pray you find happiness looking back over the years you had with her. Love you always.
