Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Mrs Cistullis passing..
I am so sorry for the loss of her, prayers said for her family ..
She excelled at everything she did..
I was a student of Mrs Cistulli at Eastern HS, 1983&1984.. she took
me under her wing.. I took the VICA in 1983.. became a CnA.. she encouraged me to take it again my Sr year.. ( I won first place in the state competition and then went on to National competition .. all under her supervision and guidance)
I was unsure where to...

I worked with Carolyn during her career at Bristol Eastern High School. My favorite memory is a personal one. During the crazy days of Cabbage Patch dolls Carolyn heard that I was frantically searching for one for my daughter, Amy. She knew someone in Caldor’s & called in a favor. She gleefully let me know that I should go to the service desk & tell them my name. She had them put aside one for me & Amy had a wonderful Christmas. Thank you Carolyn! I never forgot your generosity.

I just heard that Carolyn has passed and I am so sad that we lost touch. She was such an important part of my career and life. She was my Assistant Principal at BE as well as my Principal at Bingham. She was a wonderful leader and always saw the best in me. There were many conversations, behind closed doors that devolved into tears of merriment as we shared stories about life, teaching, family.
She was responsible for my secondary job at NVCTC. I don't know what she told them but what I...

I must say, that I have been sitting here for a good 30 minutes trying to process the fact that Carolyn is no longer in this world. Sorry, but I cannot picture it. As a teacher, I remember quite clearly how Carolyn started the Nursing Program at Bristol Eastern High School. And within the Bristol Education system, Carolyn became a positive upward spiraling dynamo soon afterward. When it came to bettering people's and students' lives, she was a force majeure. Hardly anyone could keep up. A...

I’m am very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Cistulli. She was a big part of my growing up in the old neighborhood in Bristol as Mark’s friend. I remember the countless sleepovers and the summer trips to Cape Cod so well and her integral part in making sure everyone had fun. My thoughts go out to the family.

She left a legacy never to be duplicated in her family and Bristol Education.

I am truly sorry to hear about Carolyn's death. We shared a laugh or two at Naugatuck Valley Community College functions. That's how I will always remember her--laughing. My condolences to the family.
