To the Denman and Simpson family: I did not know Carolyn personally, other than attending Mackinaw Middle and Dwight D. Eisenhower HS with her and her siblings. Carolyn was part of a circle of the same friends/community growing up and living in Saginaw Township. I was very saddened when I heard of Carolyn's passing. I know it is not for me to question why such a wonderful person who served God and community was taken from us so soon. She is now in heaven, free from the pains of having ALS....
