Not sure what to say?

Was so sad to hear of Mrs. Donohue's passing. She was my 3rd grade teacher back in the '50s at Castle Park Elementary - and one of a handful of teachers who made a difference in my life. She made learning fun and made each of us feel special. My sympathies to her family.

Our thoughts and condolences are with you, Jim.
Our lives were bettered knowing her.

I am now 61 years old and thinking back of all my school years, your mother and an english teacher I had at CPHS are the only ones who stand out. This has come up in conversation from time to time, as I have worked in a high school library for the past 21 years. Your mother was so special. My mother and I even visited her at Christmas time...
