Not sure what to say?

I don't think we've ever met. Even though we lived a street apart. I think of you often, every time I'm at the intersection. My heart goes out to your family and friends. Rest in Peace.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Carrie while our kids played together at the Park District. I will remember her as a kind person and a wonderful mother. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. God Bless.

I worked with Carrie at Rush North Shore. It grieves me to hear of this sad loss. She was a meticulous and knowledgeable ICU nurse. Truly she will be missed.

Carrie and I were friends in high school. Carrie was a gregarious, fearless and fun person. Even at a young age, she had ambitions and went after them. I'm glad that she achieved her dreams to be an ICU nurse and a mom. I am sorry I lost touch with Carrie. Her spirit was infectious and it is such a tremendous loss. My thoughts and prayers are with her family today and will continue to be with you all.

I had the pleasure of meeting Carrie when I briefly worked at St. Joe's. She was an exceptional nurse that showed great caring and compassion for her patients. Her smile lit up the room. I don't understand and probably never will, why such a wonderful person was taken from this earth and away from her children and husband so early, but I leave it to God and know that she is safe and she is looking down on everyone and keeping them safe. My heart breaks for you and your family. May God bring...

To the family of Carolyn, I am very sorry for your loss. I did not know Carolyn either, but like many, have been consumed by the tradegy. I live in the neighborhood and think of her every time I am at the intersection. I pray you have the strength to get thru each day. Your children will help you with that by putting a smile on your face when you least expect it. God be with you...

Carrie was a great person all around... She was a Mother, Wife, Daughter, Nurse, Friend, and more. She had one of the biggest hearts. I hope her children; Veronica, Georgie, and Gianna remember how funny and loving she was. She talked about her kids all the time and doing so brought a smile to all of us. Carrie, I will miss you so very much and remember you always.

This is truely a great loss to all of us who knew her, all those she took exceptional care of, both family and her pt's. I worked in the unit next to hers for six years before we moved to the new tower of the hospital. We had a conjoined hall between the units where we got our coffe and sent things to different departments. This hall and occasionally working in SICU with Carrie is where our paths mostly crossed. Carrie was a strong person and a strong nurse and someone I wish I had the...

Carrie will be greatly missed! Our prayers are with her family & friends.
