Not sure what to say?

Dear Groff Family: Carolyn has gone to join Frank. My late husband, Edward Hanjian, and I greatly admired and respected their accomplishments. Thank you, Jim, for your tribute to Edward when he passed away. It was Frank who hired Edward to come to West Hartford and work here. I will forever be grateful. My thoughts are with all members of the Groff family. Pearl Hanjian

Dear entire Groff family,
I was so sorry to read of the passing of dear "Grandma Groff". I remember her joy when visiting Duffy School on Grandparent Day as well as seeing her at all of the concerts, brownie events and various school functions. She was a gentle spirit that now lives on in all who knew and loved her. I will consider my life a success if I become half the teacher that she was.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of having Mrs Groff as both my kindergarten and first grade teacher. She was a wonderful teacher

Bob and the entire Groff family,

My deepest sympathy on the passing of your mom. May you find comfort in knowing what a full life she lived.

Dear Family and Friends of Mrs. Groff:

I had the pleasure of being a student in Mrs. Groff's 2nd and 3rd grade classes at Charter Oak Elementary school way back in the 1970's. She had such a kind and gentle demeanor, and an amazing ability to teach. Mrs. Groff was a true gem. I will never forget the time she pulled me aside to give me a stern lecture after I locked a fellow student in a storage closet. I was on the verge of tears after being caught red-handed by her. She told me...

Jim and Bob, I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I still picture her as a strong and elegant woman, full of life and energy. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your mother/grandmother. She always had a smile and a story everytime I saw her.

John, To you,my great friend from good days at Aetna and Libby and the entire Groff family, please accept my heartfelt condolences in the the loss of your mother. She certainly lived a long and fulfilling life and will now take on the spiritual responsibility of watching over the clan from her seat in Heaven. Take comfort in keeping all those good times fresh in your memories.
