Dear Harmer Family,

We were so sad to hear about Carolyn. We have nothing but wonderful memories of her and your family. It was a blessing to be neighbors in Roseville, CA and raise our little ones together.

We pray that all of you find peace and comfort in knowing what a sweet and talented woman Carolyn was. We feel certain that many (if not all) of you have followed in her footsteps. And we are sure her grandchildren are "remarkable!"

Please know of our love and...

I am so sorry to hear about Carolyn's passing. She was a great and "elect" lady whom I admired very much. I appreciate deeply the brief association we had with the Harmer family during the time when they lived at the end of J Bar B Drive in Granite Bay, California. My sincere condolences to all of her loved ones.

What a marvelous lady, a mentor for me. I looked up to her in every way. You, as her husband, John, and her children are blessed to have had her constant radiant example and guidance. Much love and sympathy, Annette Slade

Carolyn and John introduced my sister, Clare Hardy, to her future husband, Jonathan Edwin Johnson, II. We lived just a street over from the Harmers in Washington, D.C. Carolyn and John were so dear to our family and so kind to my mother, Maren Eccles Hardy. John flew me from college in Utah to sing at a Republican political rally for Ronald Reagan in California The Harmers invited me to live with them for my last year of high school, but my mother didn't feel she could part with me a year...

My deepest and sincerest condolences to the loss of such a great human being. I will always treasure the memories of going to her house to learn how to play the piano, and also to come home with a mini loaf of freshly baked bread. She has a wonderful spirit and I know it will endure.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of your mother is her smile. She was always smiling. I'm so glad you have the knowledge of eternal families. Love to all her family

Mortar Board was proud to claim Carolyn as a member. On behalf of the National Council and Board of Trustees, I offer deep sympathy and the most sincere regard for the way that she lived Mortar Board's Ideals every day.

Our deepest condolences for this great loss. She is in our hearts and prayers
