I am deeply saddened by the loss of my beautiful cousin. Carrie was the sweetest person I have ever known. My first memory of Carrie is when she took me bowling. We walked from their house on Pinebrook to the bowling alley that was on the corner of Division and 54th. I was just a little girl and with this being my first time to bowl I only knocked down 3 pins in the entire game. But Carrie cheered for me and made me feel like a winner. She would not let me quit. I will miss her sweet...

Thank you to the Thurber's, your support really helps. Also, thank you to Shaun Hathaway your support means the world to me and dad. My mom (Carrie) lived a tremendous life. She got the chance to travel to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Florida and numerous campgrounds around Michigan. She had everything she wanted in life. My mother especially loved her children (Joseph, Shaun and myself) and her grandchildren (Cody, Anthony, Gabriel, Jo'Saun, and Noriah). She is reunited with her father in heaven...

Carrie lived her live exactly as she wanted to with no regrets, there was nothing in her life that she did not experience that she wanted to do. She is now with her father who she missed terribly and was never quite the same since his passing, I know she is happier now that she is with him again. She will be missed by her family and loved one's.

We are so sorry to hear of Carries passing.We've spent many years knowing and loving her. Our sympathy is with the family.
